ROYALTY ESCORTS USING PORNSTAR PHOTOS IN ‘BAIT & SWITCH’ SCAM

Royalty Escorts is an up-market escort agency operating out of Sydney and offering ‘models’ as escorts in all Australian capital cities and the Gold Coast. Royalty Escorts website at http://www.royaltyescorts.com.au/ guarantees that they have ‘100% genuine photos & models’ and that if you hire one of their escorts ‘the girl in the picture is the girl you will see’. This claim is misleading and deceptive, as many of the photos of escorts on Royalty Escorts’ website are those of well known pornstars stolen from porn photo websites.

Royalty Escorts appears to be using ‘phantom’ models illustrated with pornstar photos on their website to make their stable of escorts look bigger and to attract potential clients. The deception looks like a classic ‘bait & switch’ marketing scam (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bait_and_switch ). If a client requests a date with a ‘phantom’ escort based on the pornstar photos, he will be told that the girl is away and not available for some time and an alternative (presumably real) escort suggested instead. So the client never sees one of the ‘phantom’ escorts, but is lured into hiring one of Royalty Escorts real escorts on the basis of the pornstar photos.

The scam was discovered when the photos being used on Royalty Escorts Brisbane website for a Level 2 escort called Vanessa Chrysler were recognised as those of one of the world’s leading pornstar models, Veronica Zemanova. The photos purporting to be Vanessa Chrysler at http://www.royaltyescorts.com.au/Brisbane/lady_va... and those of Veronica Zemanova at http://www.veronicazemanova-freepics.com/yellowdr... are identical.

When an approach was made to book a date with Vanessa Chrysler, seeking an assurance that she would be the girl in the photos on the Royalty Escorts website, the response from Yvonne at Royalty Escorts was that Vanessa was away for a couple of months and another escort was suggested in Vanessa’s place. On pointing out to Royalty Escorts that Vanessa Chrysler’s photos were actually those of Veronica Zemanova, Yvonne initially claimed that Vanessa Chrysler had provided the photos, she looks identical to the photos, and she must have misled Royalty Escorts. Further communication with more examples of pornstar photos purporting to be those of Royalty Escorts models was greeted first with abuse and then with silence. Royalty Escorts has failed to remove the ‘phantom’ models and pornstar photos from their website, despite repeated requests to do so.

Further investigation has shown that a large number of escorts on the Royalty Escorts website are illustrated with pornstar photos. All the pornstar photos so far identified come from the Digital Desire (formerly Digital Dream Girls) website of American photographer J Stephen Hicks at http://www.digitaldesire.com/ .

Other ‘phantom’ escorts on Royalty Escorts website include: Samantha Deveraux (actually pornstar Sandra Shine); Ellen Parker (pornstar Anna Belle); Veronica Fairmont (pornstar Ivey); Angelina Reece (pornstar Nikki Kane); Jenaya D'Abo (pornstar Veronica Saint); Bianca Dane (pornstar Erica Ellyson); Bobbie Davis (pornstar Erin Nicole); Breanna King (pornstar Charmane Star); Eva Campbell (pornstar Valerie Cortez); Francesca Rialto (pornstar Sunny Leone); Nicola Bradshaw (pornstar Jelena Jensen); Ondrea Madison (pornstar Jaime Hammer); Renee al Fayed (pornstar Shay Laren); Zanda Georgio (pornstar Tawny Roberts). These can all be checked out at http://www.digitaldesire.com/ in the public access areas of the website. Royalty Escorts has certainly been illegally plundering the photos and copyright of J Stephen Hicks without his approval.

There are almost certainly many more ‘phantom’ models on the Royalty Escorts website with photos from the Digital Desire and other porn photo websites.

Royalty Escorts is behaving unethically and is breaking a number of trade practices and copyright laws in perpetrating this scam.
